Smoothie Tips: Use cold bananas/other fruit, chill or use ice to bring out flavors. Greens are any type of lettuce leaf. For beginners, you may find baby spinach to be the most mild. You can instead use celery as they’re also high in minerals like greens are. If you can taste the greens, try adding more strong-flavored fruit such as bananas or mango. Other ingredients can also help such as protein powder, cacao powder, nut butter or coconut meat or oil.
